Worwick Language Studio for Kids, a quickly expanding franchise, is looking for creative and energetic teachers specializing in drama or music! Our curriculum includes the regular subjects like phonics and writing, plus special classes for science, social studies, phys. ed., art, and cooking, but it is centered on drama-based education. We are not trying to teach the kids to be thespians, but instead focus on themes, role-playing, and dialogue rather than narrative. This is a unique position in Korea. It allows teachers with special skills the opportunity to teach something, other than basic ESL.
Musical Drama Teacher.
Duties include:
Teaching all original Worwick songs (already written and professionally recorded for Worwick by an in-house songwriter) to Kindergarten kids (aged 5-7);
Curriculum development for the musical drama program;
Directing and producing the musical aspect of two performances throughout the year;
*the successful candidate will be creative, energetic and very proficient on the piano.
SUMMARY:
Salary: 2.0-2.2 million won/month;
Overtime: 23,800 won/hour;
Hours: 9:00-4:30 Monday-Friday (teaching time 10:00-3:00);
Students: Kindergarten (aged 5-7);
Housing: Single, furnished (or housing allowance, if you prefer);
Vacation: 10 days;
Number of Foreign Teachers: Daechi-10, Bundang-12, Songpa-5;
E2 Visa, Airfare, Severance, 50% Insurance offered.
